Log your hours daily or fill in a full week at once.
The timesheet is your main workspace for recording work. You can navigate between weeks, edit hours inline, and see daily and weekly totals update live. Entries are grouped by project and task so you always know where your time is going.
- Copy the previous week's entries to pre-fill the current week for recurring work
- Edit any cell inline — daily and weekly totals update immediately as you type
- Add notes to individual entries to capture context alongside the logged hours
- Navigate to any past or future week without losing your current edits
- Entries are grouped by project and task, giving you a clear breakdown at a glance
Tip: If your work is mostly the same each week, use Copy from last week to skip re-entering everything — then just adjust the hours that changed.
Track your estimated PTO balance and keep the accrual inputs up to date.
The PTO area helps you check your yearly balance using the policy configured for your workspace. You can maintain the dates and reference values used for the estimate, while admins manage the shared PTO policy tiers that drive the calculation.
- Check your estimated PTO balance for the current year or move across years to review accrual changes
- Set your hiring date or starting balance reference so the estimate is calculated from the right baseline
- Update your PTO inputs yourself from your profile without leaving the app
- Admins can maintain PTO policy tiers centrally so the shared rules stay consistent for everyone
Tip: If the estimate looks off, review your hiring date and reference balance first — those two inputs drive the yearly calculation.
Browse and manage the full delivery structure in one place.
All client work is organized as customers → projects → tasks. You can navigate the full hierarchy, check which projects are active, and manage the structure without switching between multiple screens.
- Search across customers and projects to quickly find what you are looking for
- Expand a customer to see all its projects, or expand a project to see its tasks
- Create a new project and assign it to an existing customer in the same form
- Archive completed projects — they stay accessible for reporting but do not clutter active views
- Open a project to review progress, pace, and alert thresholds, then subscribe to project alerts when needed
- Task categories keep entries consistent across the team and simplify reporting
Slice, filter, and share time data across the whole team.
The report view aggregates hours logged across any combination of users, projects, service lines, and date ranges. Results update live as you adjust filters, and every view can be saved or shared.
- Apply filters by date range, project, customer, user, or service line — combine them freely
- Save a named filter set so you can return to the same view with one click
- Share a filtered report URL with a colleague — they see the same data and active filters
- Expand rows to drill into a breakdown of hours per user, project, or task
- Filter badges show exactly what is active so you always know what the numbers reflect
Tip: Save your most-used filter combinations with a clear name like "My team – this month" so you can pull them up during standups without reconfiguring each time.
Use Brickly from MCP-capable assistants and editors.
Brickly exposes an authenticated MCP server for time tracking. Connected clients can read your entries, resolve tasks from customer, project, or task names, add confirmed time entries, and open an interactive daily time entries app.
- Ask for today, this week, last week, or a custom range of your time entries
- Resolve free-text task hints before logging time so entries land on the right task
- Add time only after the task is clearly identified and confirmed when needed
- Open the daily time entries app to view, add, edit, or delete entries for one day
Tip: Add an HTTP MCP server named "brickly" with URL "https://dashboard.brickly.me/mcp".
Update your personal details and manage team access.
Each user has a profile that feeds both the app and the CV export. Standard users can manage their own information, while admins have additional controls over the full user list.
- Update your display name, service line, contact details, and profile photo from your profile page
- Add and reorder skills, languages, certifications, and experience used in your CV export
- Publish a public business card with your own slug, then copy or open the shareable link
- Generate a presentation background image with your contact block and download it as a PNG
- Admins can approve new account requests, assign roles, and deactivate users
Preview and download a formatted curriculum in a few clicks.
The CV export generates a branded PDF from your profile data. Customise what appears before downloading and preview the result live without leaving the page. Changes to your profile are reflected in the preview immediately.
- Open the live preview panel to see exactly how the PDF will look before you download
- Toggle your name, company name, and logo on or off per export
- Control which profile sections appear: skills, languages, certifications, and experience
- Use the branded output for client proposals, job applications, or internal talent reviews
- Re-open the export at any time — it always reflects your latest profile data
Tip: Toggle off your name and company logo for an anonymous version of your CV — useful when sharing with clients who should evaluate skills independently.
Admins can configure workspace-wide settings from one central area.
The company configuration section controls defaults and registry entries that affect the whole workspace. Changes here propagate to all users automatically without requiring a restart.
- Set the company name and logo used across the app and in branded PDF exports
- Manage the registry of service lines that users can be assigned to
- Add and maintain task categories used across all projects
- Configure default project alert recipients and thresholds for new projects
- Configure fiscal year start and productivity targets used in reporting baselines
- All configuration changes apply workspace-wide and are visible to users immediately
